Multi-Cuisine
Remember the handcarts selling masala-dosa, bread omelets – all now bits from memory.
These ‘specialty’ outlets have overtime transformed to include other eatables on their menu.
Suddenly hand carts everywhere are no longer hives of activity selling exclusive fare - rather they are serving everything Indian, Continental AND Chinese!!
Almost every street now holds these ‘multi cuisine carts’ – a reminder that sometimes focus on just one product and excelling in it maybe a better way to go.
Read the story of Thiru Kumar aka Dosa Man .
It does pay to be the master of the domain than to be a jack of none.
Showing off ?
What would you show off when the client comes visiting – the incredible talent pool or the state of art infrastructure?
The challenge lies in being prepared and deciding what, how much and in what way would the ‘ ‘Show off’ ‘ be worth its while.
Road Trip :)
I did not realise how much I needed a break till I went on an impromptu road trip along NH7
.
The drive along National Highway 7 could not have been better, although sections of it are still under construction the drive was pretty awesome.
Way to go
- Long stretches of fresh new roads and sunflowers to brighten up the drive
Most villages use a substantial amount of their development funds to create magnificent temples:
Standing tall – a 12 meter high Hanuman statue marks the beginning of Anathapur town.
Iskon Temple for the Sun God, another spectacular sight, this one is incidentally just half a kilometer off the Hanuman statue in picture above
The drive continues along sprawling farms and rolling clouds.
