‘Start something New’

That’s the tag line that Shoppers Stop now sports along with a new logo.

The old logo:

At first glance the new logo looks really familiar and this is perhaps why :

Start something new they may say, but the new logo has a definite ’seen it before’ feel to it.

While the old logo was nothing to write about, the new one is not fabulous either and there are no prizes for guessing which logo I like more.
