Some days you are dragged into a debate and sometimes you debate even when logic asks you to walk away.

What began as a harmless lunch time discussion about corruption and the metro rail project in Delhi, slowly lead to the topic of reality shows – now so popular on Indian Television.

Apparently the guy with an Engineers degree and seven years of experience wants Sony entertainment television to be child proofed —- for adults!

Meaning – since half the Indian population (read men) is not educated enough they will not be able to handle the ‘vulgarity’ in shows and hence the ladies on the small screen need to cover up.

Have we not baby sat the men of this nation enough already? Apparently not.

Point being – as men lack the discipline to turn off their television sets, women should take it “slow”.

Sure, I understand.

This learned gentleman goes on the compare the reality show’s lack of culture with the “national crisis” of Christian missionaries brain washing the people of this nation into religion conversion. So what if the poor in return get some facilities like clothing, education and more importantly acceptance in society, it still goes against what the Constitution states.

Yeah, I get it – we cannot teach respect towards women, but we sure can ‘teach’ people to fore go facilities ( that otherwise they would not get in this lifetime) in the name of constitution.

Does it come as a surprise that this respectable young man in his early thirties has been a part of RSS and has done his best towards development of the nation one small bit at a time – possibly covering up movie posters and discouraging education in the name of religion.

All the worrying about the lack of education, takes your mind off the pseudo educated.
